Missing PetBottle Project

Beams Festival 2013

PetBottle project started in 2012 with quirky animals made by felt making techniques and set it into re-shaped PET bottles. PetBottle was made for Chippendale community who would like to own pets, but are not allowed to do so because of their living circumstances. In 2012, we asked people who came to the Beams Festival to take a PetBottle home, and asked them to post some PetBottle travel pictures on the PetBottle Facebook page. However, many PetBottles from 2012 went missing.
In 2013, new and grown up PetBottles were made for the search of first generation PetBottles.

The Letter to whom it may concern, in September 2013

The PetBottle Project began at the 2012 Beams Festival.
People were invited to take the PetBottles into their homes and upload a photo of it in the new
environment. In 2013, we launch the “Missing PetBottle Project”.
If you have seen one of last years PetBottles, please give us some news on the PetBottle Facebook page, at facebook/PetBottleProject. Or you can post your information into the PetBottle post box now.
This year we are providing new PetBottles to help you search for last years PetBottles. If you think you can commit to the Missing PetBottle Project, please choose one of the new quirky grown up
PetBottles and fill out the form attached to it, then post your form into the PetBottle post box.

We would like to see the journeys that the Pet Bottles make, so please photograph the PetBottle in its new environment then post your photos onto the PetBottle Project Facebook page.
